Roya Stanley, director of the Iowa Office of Energy (OEI)Independence, was in Kalona Monday to commend the Iowa Mennonite School for its installation of a solar array to capture the sun’s energy, as well as to explain just what the new state office does. The presentation took place during the Kalona Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon.
