The electrical usage saved by efficiency improvements at Alpla Inc. in Jefferson City equals the energy used by 35 homes. To help cover the costs of the new high efficiency lighting fixtures, Alpla was presented with $23,000 Thursday from AmerenUE’s Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) program.
